Portrait of an Addict Initial Meeting

So this weekend I had a meeting with Sandy Kim and Marcus Striklin. They are making this short called “Portrait of an Addict”, and it’s a great dramatic piece. It’s personal to Sandy because of an experience that she had in life. And it’s personal to me also because of some past history. I am really looking forward to scoring this because of the extra meaning.

I’m also looking forward to this because I just find Marcus and Sandy driven and full of love for what they do. I prefer to work with driven people whose energy is only matched by their will to learn and be better. I follow this mantra myself. I always want to be able to say that my last piece was my best piece.

I also liked that the fact that the three of us have this energy triangle going. Sandy and I both have this connection to just hearing whack music in situations (like old school metal). Marcus is a great admirer of film composers. It’s such an incredible energy to connect with people in this way.

I also get to flex my muscle a bit with movement. Going from one landscape in one part to another, it’s very exciting. I haven’t gotten to work much with dramas, and this is an absolutely great opportunity. I can only thank Marcus and Sandy for trusting me with their vision.

This is the reason I do what I do..

STAY DRIVEN!!!

Added Some of the Work of Wendi

In an effort to update my site, I added a few pieces from “Wendi”, a short web series I worked on. I decided to focus only on the title theme, some of the kind of creepy short pieces that I did, and the credits music. In the set of music here, I hope you will find something that you like.

I wanted “Wendi” the title theme to be somewhat haunting. She is a ghost after all, and is alone her quest to find who her killer is. “The Arrest” and “Disbelief” are very similar. They basically represent that sort of ambient but low driving sequence music that just sets a tone for the scene. “She and He” is a tribute to old school horror music and was quite fun to make. “The Beginning” is actually credits music, and is sort of a steampunk ode to the ghost story.

I hope you enjoy it. You can find it on my projects page at :

THE INDEX Premier

On September 10th, 2016, I was happy to witness the two episodes (53 and CANE) as part of a filmmaker’s event at Sun Studios in Tempe, AZ. It was a great event, and the place was packed. The members of the crew were there in attendance, and everyone who has given sweat and blood to this project enjoyed the release of the moment. I can’t thank Rustin Odom enough for allowing me to be a part of his art.

It was truly an eventful evening.
And here is the crew :

The Beginning

I have not had a website for quite some time. I basically had a link to my YouTube channel. Now I’ve decided to go ahead, take the plunge, and create a website. I hope that those who enjoy my music, will find this website a place to get to know my music. I have several projects in the works right now, and as I journey along to complete those, I’ll be adding those here. I also will be adding things that I find interesting or connected to the music / film world.

STAY DRIVEN!!!
